First proponent to the University and the Portuguese Regulator (Agência de Avaliação e Acreditação do Ensino Superior - A3ES) of a new executive master in Economics and Public Policy to be offered at FEP - University of Porto. The proposal was approved and the degree started being offered in 2024/2025. The degree was fully conceived from scratch to equip students with the technical-scientific skills and state-of-the-art knowledge necessary for key roles in the strategic design, implementation, control, and evaluation of public policies. In other words, the program aims to train professionals in this field.

Outcome: Accredited for 3 years, with the condition of improving research in public policy at School level. Initial registry at DGES (General-Directorate for Higher Education) with reference R/A-Cr 165/2024 on 2024-11-09
